I Love Training Dogs

I got my first puppy when I was nine years old and with the help of my grandfather and uncle, started training my puppy when I was ten years old. That event started in 1946, back in southeast Louisiana. I was into a life long love, dog training.

My uncle made a deal with someone that I would take care of the mama dog and puppies until they were eight weeks old and I would get a puppy for my effort.

The puppy would be raised to be a hunting dog. Being raised on a large farm with plenty of woods and a couple of streams running through and around it, I had plenty of hunting area.

And then there were the varmints coming in to the farm to dine on the products being raised. I was having fun and protecting the crops at the same time. My dog and I enjoyed several years together back on the farm when things were a lot less hectic than today.

That was the beginning of a life long career in owning and training dogs. I started with varmint dogs, then Pointer bird dogs and later training all breeds in obedience classes. Along the way I trained German Shepherds in attack, narcotics, and search/rescue.

And of course, my string of Chihuahuas, the most loving and happy of all breeds. So, at 75 years young, I have worked with and enjoyed many dogs of many breeds. I love them all and still have a Chihuahua, Dulce, in my home. She thinks that she is the boss and she may be right.

I will be adding products as I do the necessary research to write the reviews… I will not include inferior products.

I will give you reasons to buy a product, but I will also include any negatives that I find so that you can make a fair decision.
